Once again the North East has shone as a region for our beers in cask, keg and bottle; with ourselves, Mordue and Wylam bringing home another host of awards from the National SIBA Award Ceremony held at BeerX in Sheffield.

Our Pennine Pale 4% in bottle was awarded the Silver in the Champion Bottled Bitter (up to 4.9%) category sponsored by Anton Paar Ltd

Our APA 5.5% in cask was award Bronze in the Champion Strong Bitters category sponsored by Charles Farams and Co Ltd

Mordue's Killswitch 51 and their Oatmeal Stout along with Wylam's Haxan also stood out nationally earning between them Gold, Silver and Bronze's in several categories.

We are both proud and humble that both of our beers that were entered into the competition were recognised on a national level after being awarded the Gold medals on a regional level. We are thrilled the effort and passion we put into each and every beer stands up to the rigorous taste, aroma and visual testing at national level. We also acknowledge that the high level of competition and top class standards to be found in our region's breweries ensures that we all stay on our toes and pushes us all to constantly evolve and improve. Lets raise a glass to the NE brewing family and well done all round.
